R. Paul Layfield
Paul Layfield has practiced in the area of commercial law since 1988. He advises on legal issues affecting the creation, operation, acquisition and disposition of businesses, including the tax implications related to business activities.
Paul's commercial practice focuses on the areas of incorporation, the purchase and sale of businesses, shareholder agreements, reorganization of businesses, corporate financing and insolvency matters.
Paul is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Essex Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association. Paul continues to maintain his professional engineering designation. He is also active in the local community, acting as director and advisor to a number of non-profit community organizations and social clubs.
